PARTNER WORKSHOP
DRIVING ASIA-PACIFIC REGIONAL ENTERPRISES TO FLOURISH IN
THE DYNAMIC DIGITAL PRINTING INDUSTRY
HONG KONG, 7 July 2005 -- Fuji Xerox Co. Ltd.,
the leading provider of document and knowledge management
solutions and production services, hosted its first Graphic
Arts Premier Partners Workshop in Hong Kong from 4 to 5
July. The workshop, which was about book publishing, invited
leading graphic arts' practitioners in digital printing
and publishing. It was a milestone event for the rapidly
expanding Fuji Xerox Graphic Arts Premier Partners Program
that began in Asia Pacific in 2004.

Publidisa, a founding member of the Premier Partners in
Spain, shared their best practices at the workshop, focusing
on their profit model and workflow of their production planning
system. This production planning system has demonstrated
reliable success in allowing publishers to use an optimum
system of production management that is cost effective and
does not take up warehouse space. By minimising costs and
maximising returns, this has opened up the possibility of
reinvestment into new projects. Publidisa has the largest
digital printing centre in Europe and an international production
and distribution service in several countries.
