REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
If the
print on demand quote which you are requesting, is for a publication
which will have its first print run
in Spain as a result, Publidisa will take care
of registration requirements. If on the other hand the print
on demand quote is for a reprint
of your publication already published in Spain you must indicate its
"legal deposit" Code.
COLLECTIONS
If
you wish, your publications can be divided into collections. For this,
the collections need to be created before the process of publishing
starts. The creation and modification of collections is done from the
web site at: Publications/
Collections.
PRINTING INFORMATION
To make
a print on demand quote we require certain information about the publication.
Publidisa establishes some general
specifications for all types of publication. However, if a publication
has a characteristic not included in the established specifications,
consult our sales
department .
COVER FLAPS
If you
request print on demand for a publication with flaps the minumum order
is 200 copies.

DELIVERY ADDRESSES
In this
section must be indicated the number of different addresses you wish
the print on demand copies to be sent to. Included in the estimate price,
is the delivery of the total order to a limited number of addresses
depending on how many boxes the number of books produced can be divided
into.
The number
of boxes is calculated automatically in the quote and will change according
to the number of books produced and the total weight of the production.
If you
wish to send your publications to a greater number of addresses than
the number included in the quote, you will incur extra costs in doing
so. These costs are clearly stated in the quote.

ADDITIONAL DELIVERY COSTS
The print
on demand quote includes the delivery of the total order, divided into
a limited number of boxes which may be sent to the addresses given.
If more
boxes than quoted are required extra delivery costs will be incurred
. The cost of each extra box sent to the Spanish mainland and Balearic
Islands is 7.20 € ( 2002 price)
Packages
to the Canary Islands will be sent by parcel post making their delivery
time between 7and 10 days.
If a package
not included in the quote, weighs 4 kgs or less, you may choose from
the following forms of transport:
•
Express delivery: 7.20 € / 2 days delivery ( 8 days for the Canary
Islands, Ceuta and Melilla)
• Recorded delivery: 2.40 € / 10 days delivery.
All additional
delivery costs will appear in the quote for you to validate.

UNIT PRICE CALCULATION
The unit
price given in the online quote shows how much each copy produced costs
depending on the following factors:

Technical details: paper, cover, printing colours etc.
• Weight of each copy
• Production process used
• Delivery destinations ( see Delivery addresses for more information)

SHIPPING INFORMATION
The print
on demand quote includes the delivery and transport for the whole production
divided into a limited number of boxes, which can be sent to any address.
If when
the production is divided between your distributors, additional boxes
or addresses not included in the quote are created, you can choose between
express delivery and registered post for any shipment weighing 4kgs
or less.
Express
delivery costs 7.20 € per box and takes 2 working days for mainland
destinations, 5 days for the Balearic islands and a week for the Canary
islands, Ceuta and Melilla. Registered post costs 2.40 € per box
and takes 8 to 10 working days.
