The print on demand services which Publidisa offers to publishers include both the processing of the publication and the print and delivery services, sending the publication to the points indicated by the publisher. Given the characteristics of print on demand (many titles per publisher, remote production management by the publisher, in some cases on a daily basis and supply to the places indicated) a signed provision of services contract is necessary. This contract is known as a provision of POD services contract and contains:
The provision of a services contract is essential for any work done with Publidisa. A signed contract gives publishers access to Publidisa's exclusive publisher site, where it is possible to obtain an online quote for publications, manage their reprinting and decide on the sale or distribution points where you want the production to be sent. These are just some of the specialised services Publidisa has to offer its customers. From Publidisa's exclusive publisher site publishers may obtain an online quote for the production of each of their publications. Each quote represents a specific product and once confirmed by Publidisa, becomes a firm quote to be produced under the conditions requested by the publisher. To complete an online production quote,it is vital that the publication is sent to Publidisa in PDF format. If this is not possible, the additional cost of conversion to this format will be included in the quote. Online quotes include:
The standard
conditions for projects from online quotes are listed under Standard production
conditions.
Publishers in Spain Once the quote is drawn up and accepted by both parties, the collection and the first production of a publication can take place. For this Publidisa must receive both a digital and paper copy of the publication. The digital copy must be in PDF format and in any support established in the section "Conditions of receipt of the original". Using PDF format we can be sure that the production will be exactly the same as the original provided by the publisher. The copy in paper format is used to ensure that the production matches the original version received from the publisher, from the interior of the book to the colours on the cover. In cases where there is no printed copy of the publication, due to the fact that this will be the first edition, the publisher must send a test print copy of the whole book. Publidisa will cover the costs of reprinting the originals and checking them against the submitted quote. If the original is not in PDF format or if the publisher does not have a digital copy of it, a personalised quote will be made to convert or digitalise the paper original by scanning, the quote will be sent to the publisher for approval. The cost of this service will be incorporated in the quote as an additional first production cost. Once this process is complete the publication will be put on the publisher site where reprinting can be managed from and at the same time the first contracted production of the book will be made.

web page for publishers where reprinting can be managed from and at the

Publishers are able to manage the reprinting of budgeted publications stored in their individual databases on Publidisa's publisher site. This is done through a publication order in which the number of copies requested of each publication and the place(s) where they are to be delivered to is stated. Publishers may request the printing of as many publications as they have on the web site and their delivery to the places already indicated. The reprinting of each requested publication will be billed according to the price established in each initial individual quote.
