What is an eBook?
An eBook is a digital production which has been created to be marketed
on the Internet. Therefore the size, structure and design have had to
be correctly modified to ensure correct visualisation, transmission time/download

Is it easy to read an eBook?
eBooks are read from the screen of a computer, be it a Mackintosh personal
computer, a PC or a laptop. The pages appear on the screen in the same
way as they do in a book, and using the page navigator incorporated in

What prerequisites are required to download
an eBook?
To download an eBook you need a PC pentium 200 or Makintosh
desktop or laptop with at least 6Mb of free memory space
on the hard disk.
You also need to install Adobe free software: Adobe Digital Editions

How long does it take to download an eBook?
The download of an eBook depends on the data connection which you have

The publisher establishes the rights and permissions that the user has
in relation to the eBook.

How long will my eBook remain on my computer if it is not downloaded?
When you buy an eBook you have one month to download it, after this period
of time it will be automatically disabled.

Can I make backup files of my eBooks?
Yes if you are using Adobe Reader 6 or 7. You can make backup files selecting
the Backup option from "My
Bookshelf" window
specially when you are going to uninstall Adobe Reader, update your operating
system or format your hard disk.

Why do I get a certification error after having installed the Adobe Reader?
When you install the Adobe Reader for the first time you must certify
the product, this is only necessary once. If your computer is networked
and you have a Firewall/Proxy server, you may have difficulties when certifying
products due to a bad configuration in your Internet Explorer or due to
restricted access in the configuration of you Firewall/Proxy server. Consult
you network administrator if your are unsure about you network configuration.

What
should I do if the error, "cannot open EBX transfer file" appears
when I try to open the EBX transfer file?
YYou must certify the Adobe Reader. If you do not certify it you will
be able to download *.etd files which allow the Adobe Reader to download
books, but not the actual books. In this case please contact our technical
team.

Can I use a different Adobe software?
No, you can't. To read encrypted eBooks you must install
Adobe Digital Editions, Adobe Reader 6 or Adobe Reader 7. Neither Adobe
Reader
8, Adobe Acrobat eBook Reader 4.05, 5.05 or 5.1 works
with encrypted PDFs, so it is absolutly neccesary to install exclusively
Adobe
Digital Editions, Adobe Reader 6 or Adobe Reader 7.
