Billing
conditions
Publidisa's
services will be provided to each publisher on the prior acceptance of
a quote for the conversion to ebook of each title and a commision percentage
for the sales management of the title on our electronic sales system or
on the system chosen by the publisher. The quote for each publication
is valid for 6 months.
Each production
will yield bills or payments received directly at the bank account agreed
by the publisher at the signing of the services contract. These bills
or payments will be itemised and issued for the following:
-Procedures
of conversion, encryption and incorporation of the publication in the
electronic services agreed by the client. This is a payment
which will only ever be applicable once for each publication and it is
billed for after a quote is accepted by a client.
-Storage of a publication on Publidisa's ebook
file server. This is payable
annually and depends on the quantity and size of each publication which
the client has in storage. Payment for this service begins a year after
the publication is first stored.
-Percentage of retail price (RP) of each publication
for each sale made. There are two possible options for the
payment of this percentage given that, the following systems are in place
for the marketing of the publications:
- Sale through the web site Todoebook. An agreed percentage will be deducted
from the RP of the titles sold and payment will be made in to the bank
account given by the client.
- Sale through electronic sales systems developed by the client specifically
for ebooks. The client will receive the agreed percentage of the RP in
the bank account given for each of the titles sold.
In both cases Publidisa will send
a weekly report to the client detailing all the downloads made of their
titles. At the same time the client will have access to Publidisa's
exclusive publisher site where online consultation can be made regarding
information such as, titles listed, customer details and other information
which is of interest to our client. Bills or payments will be issued for
minimum amounts established according to bank charges.
The following
diagram shows the processes which result in the issuing of a bill from
Publidisa to the publisher's bank
account.
